Our Doctors division has an extensive database of registered hospital doctors, RMO’s and GPs who are available to work both short and long term locum assignments.
Orion is committed to safe practice and safer recruitment and with this in mind we ensure that all candidates complete our recruitment and vetting process prior to placement.
We operate a detailed quality assurance procedure which enables us to continuously monitor the performance of our agency workers as well as evaluate the performance of our agency services.
Each doctor must provide the following information prior to placement:
- Completed application form
- Full CV
- At least 2 references from current or most recent employers
- Occupational health clearance
- Proof of immunisation (as per DOH and NHS)
- Identification
- Professional registration
- Right to work in the UK
- Qualifications
- Training – professional, induction and annual
- Enhanced CRB check
